Introduction
This training material is a review when using the spirometer on gathering data to input patients chart and then viewing/comparing reports.

Opening Workflow
1. After opening the patient chart, perform a 4-point check. Check location, provider, encounter.
2. Click on the 'Equipment' icon to open the template. Confirm the provider and location. Click on the drop-down in Equipment field and select the 'Midmark Spirometry'. Then click the 'Acquire Data' button to open the template.
3. After clicking the 'Acquire Data' button the spirometry window will appear to select if this is new, continue or finish the test. Enter the patient's missing information then click 'ok'.
4. After clicking 'ok' the template will open, click on the 'Settings' button to set the desired test for the patient.
Settings
1. From the 'Spirometry Settings' window, click on the 'Incentive/Miscellaneous' tab to change the Incentive screen when a patient using testing.
2. Click the apply then ok button.
Calibrating
1. After entering desired settings, click the 'Cal' button to perform the calibration.
2. Calibration window will appear, follow directions when using the syringe to perform the calibration. Once completed, a message will appear if the test was completed.
3. After completing the calibration, the test screen will prompt. (Depending on which incentive display was selected from the settings, the test screen will appear.)
4. After the patient completed the test, a message will appear indicating if the test was good or need to retake.
Note: If needing to retake the test, click the 'Yes' button to retake the test.
Confirming Data
1. After completing a test, the spirometry report window will appear. There are 4 different reports that can be viewed.
