Users have the ability change the default view of encounters shown on the history bar.
To change this preference go to in EHR go to Tools > Preferences > Main Tool Bar and change the following setting to your preferred setting.
Summary of available settings:
1. Expand All - By default shows all encounters fully expanded
2. Expand Most Recent - Only expands the most recent encounter
3. Expand All Unlocked - Expands all unlocked encounters
4. Collapse All - Brings up all encounters in condensed view
